Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes đóng vai trò như màn dẫn chuyện choMetal Gear Solid V, đưa người chơi theo chân Big Boss trong nhiệm vụ đột nhập căn cứ quân sự ở Cuba để giải cứu cho một số nhân vật quan trọng. Được đánh giá cao về lối chơi tự do nhiều cách hoàn thành nhiệm vụ nhưng độ dài khiêm tốn khoảng 1 tiếng của Ground Zeroes kết hợp cùng cái giá 30 USD đã khiến cho nhiều người cảm thấy hụt hẫng. Hy vọng khi được phát hành lại trên Steam, Konami sẽ đưa ra mức giá mềm hơn đến với người chơi PC.
