Trong Tom vs. the Armies of Hell, bạn sẽ vào vai người hùng bất đắc dĩ Tom, một kỹ sư phần mềm bị biến thành nửa quỷ nửa người khi một thí nghiệm gặp trục trặc, biến toàn bộ văn phòng công ty Tom thành Địa ngục.
Được trang bị một khẩu súng thí nghiệm cùng năng lực ma quỷ mới có của mình, Tom không những phải sống sót, mà còn phải khám phá bí ẩn về nguyên nhân đã gây nên tai nạn này, và tìm đường trở về nhà. Trên đường đi, Tom sẽ nhận được sự trợ giúp của Beezle, một tiểu yêu màu tía đã cứu anh ta khỏi sự xâm lược ban đầu của quỷ. Cùng với nhau, họ sẽ đối mặt với những quân đoàn ma cà rồng, quỷ dữ, và cả người máy.
