Square Enix cùng Crystal Dynamics vừa cho ra mắt người hâm mộ đoạn phim chơi thử dài 11 phút của tựa game Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration được chiếu tại khu vực của Square Enix ở sự kiện Gamescom 2016 vừa qua.
Đoạn phim bắt đầu với nhiệm vụ Thin Ice trong phần chơi chiến dịch chính của Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, lúc bây giờ Lara phải tìm cách chạy trốn khỏi Trinity trên một hoang mạc lạnh giá ở Siberia. Tiếp theo đoạn phim giới thiệu đến người chơi gói nội dung tải về Blood Ties, với hơn một tiếng đồng hồ cốt truyện hoàn toàn mới về cuộc đấu tranh chứng tỏ quyền thừa kế hợp pháp dinh thự Croft của Lara. Cuối cùng, đoạn phim hé lộ cho người chơi thấy một số hình ảnh mới về chế độ Lara’s Nightmare mới, trong đó Lara phải chiến đấu chống lại bè lũ xác sống để bảo vệ ngôi nhà của mình.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration là phiên bản toàn diện nhất của tựa game này với toàn bộ các gói nội dung tải về đã được phát hành cùng gói nội dung tải về mới Blood Ties. Ngoài ra phiên bản này còn bao gồm hỗ trợ thực tế ảo với PlayStation VR, một chế độ co-op mới có tên Endurance Mode, độ khó Extreme Survivor mới, 5 vẻ ngoài cổ điển của Lara cùng một bộ trang phục và vũ khí được lấy cảm hứng từ Tomb Raider III.
