Nhưng với lứa “8X”, những người đã trải qua thời kỳ đầu của những trò chơi máy tính du nhập vào Việt Nam, “Thanh Kiếm Gãy” là một tượng đài của thể loại game phiêu lưu. Trải qua bao thăng trầm, cho đến nay Broken Sword vẫn tự hào là “một trong những dòng game phiêu lưu được yêu thích nhất” (theo lời Revolution studio quảng cáo).
Broken Sword là một dòng game phiêu lưu truyền thống, theo dạng “trỏ và nhấn”, lấy đề tài những bí ẩn trong lịch sử. Nếu thích Tomb Raider, mê loạt phim Indiana Jones hay những tác phẩm của Dan Brown, bạn sẽ hài lòng với Broken Sword vì trò chơi mang lại những cảm giác tương tự.
