Tales from the Borderlands is a five part episodic game series from the
creators of The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead: A Telltale Games
Series. Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events seen in
Borderlands 2, this is a story full of Borderlands' trademark humor,
following two adventurers on their quest for greatness.
You'll play as Rhys, a Hyperion 'suit' with dreams of being the next
Handsome Jack, and Fiona, a Pandoran con artist looking to score her
biggest ever swindle. Thrown together as unwilling partners in an
adventure to recover cash they both think is theirs, their journey will
take you on a wild ride where gangsters, bandit lords, and Vault Hunters
are just some of the obstacles you'll encounter, in this new take on the
award-winning universe created by Gearbox Software.

Vừa ra mắt, Tales from the Borderlands: Episode One đã nhận được số điểm cao ngất từ các trang tin game uy tín.
Có lẽ nếu là Fan của Borderlands thì chắc hẳn nhiều người đã quá quen thuộc với lối chơi bắn súng, hành động nhanh mạnh trong Series mà Gearbox Software đã tạo ra. Đồ họa độc đáo, gameplay và cốt truyện pha chút gì đó hài hước dường như đã trở thành một nét gì đó rất riêng của dòng game này, vì thế, ngay khi Telltale quyết định sẽ làm lại Borderlands với một phong cách hoàn toàn mới đã khiến rất nhiều người chơi cảm thấy lo lắng.
Tuy nhiên, nếu đã từng trải nghiệm qua Series The Walking Dead cũng được thực hiện bởi chính Telltale, chắc hẳn bạn sẽ không thể phủ nhận cách xây dựng đồ họa, cách tạo ra hướng đi mới cho cốt truyện chính cũng như hình tượng nhân vật trong game đều được xây dựng lại rất độc đáo khiến người chơi cảm nhận được sự mới mẻ trong từng Episode trải nghiệm.
Trò chơi vẫn đi theo phong cách phiêu lưu tương tác quen thuộc của Telltale Games tương tự như game The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among US và Game of Thrones với những lựa chọn dẫn người chơi đến các kết cục khác nhau. Với gói nội dung gồm 5 phần, Tales From The Borderlands lấy bối cảnh diễn ra ở thế giới Pandora và sau khi sự kiện của Borderlands 2 diễn ra.
Có một chút khác biệt trái với truyền thống của Telltale Games là Tales From The Borderlands được khai thác theo một góc nhìn hoàn toàn mới là một game phiêu lưu giải đố thay vì là một game nhập vai dưới góc nhìn thứ nhất như 2 phiên bản dành cho PC trước đó.
Tales from the Borderlands: Episode One dự kiến sẽ phát hành vào 26/11 trên PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 và Xbox One.Nếu vẫn còn đang lưỡng lự liệu mình có nên đặt mua sản phẩm này hay không thì câu trả lời chắc chắn là có. Hiện tại các trang tin cũng đã bắt đầu đánh giá sản phẩm này, hầu hết đều dành cho Episode này một số điểm cao ngất, không thua kém gì Series gốc.
