Từng được phát hành bởi LucasArts vào năm 1993 và được coi là phần kế của trò chơi phiêu lưu giải đố đình đám, Maniac Mansion, của nhà thiết kế game danh tiếng Ron Gilbert, Day of the Tentacle là một game hoạt hình giải đố phiêu lưu xuyên thời gian đầy sức hút. Bối cảnh game diễn ra khi ba người bạn “bất đắc dĩ” cùng nhau giải cứu Trái Đất khỏi sự xâm lăng của lũ quỷ xúc tu tím ngoài vũ trụ.
Giờ đây, sau 20 năm, Day of the Tentacle Remastered đã trở lại với rất nhiều tính năng mới, cùng sự tiến bộ về đồ họa và âm thanh, hiệu ứng được cải tiến. Tất cả sẽ được nhào nặn dưới bàn tay của đội ngũ Double Fine, “ngôi nhà” của huyền thoại thiết kế game Tim Schafer – đồng nghiệp cũ của Ron Gilbert.
